Everything you need to know about flows, transfers, buckets, and the balance chart.
Transactions (Flows) are money in or out of your system (e.g., salary, groceries). Transfers move money internally between your Buckets (e.g., Bank → Cash). Transfers don’t change total balance; they only reallocate it.
When creating or editing a transfer, open “Linked Transactions,” choose the source and destination buckets, then select the relevant transactions to link. This ties the transfer to the actual bank movements.
This error appears if the selected transaction’s bucket doesn’t match the transfer’s From/To bucket. Double-check the bucket IDs you picked for the transfer and the transaction. If you just changed buckets, clear and re-link the transactions.
Buckets represent where your money lives (e.g., Bank, Cash). Sources and Sinks help you model where money typically comes from or goes to, making analysis and planning clearer.
Add an optional transfer fee on a transfer to record costs (like ATM or bank fees). Fees don’t alter the transfer’s direction—just the total cost recorded.
Yes. Use the Edit Transfer page to change amount, buckets, date, completion, notes, or linked transactions. Deleting a transfer soft-deletes it and unlinks its transactions safely.
The chart aggregates all Transactions (inflows/outflows) over time. Transfers are internal and don’t affect the total balance, so they’re visual markers, not balance changers.
Open the filter drawer to search by description, limit amount ranges, toggle inflow/outflow or complete/incomplete, and change sort order. Each tab remembers its own filter settings.
Use the bottom navigation: create a new Transaction or Transfer, and jump to Groups, Sinks, Buckets, or Sources with a tap.
Marking Complete indicates the movement has settled. It helps filtering, reporting, and keeps your timeline tidy when scheduling transfers ahead of time.
