Who it's for
BudgetFast reads the transactions Fintable.io syncs into your Google Sheet — so if you already use Fintable, you're exactly who it's for. No Fintable yet? Direct bank connections are on the way.
You use Fintable.io
Point BudgetFast at your Fintable sheet and your whole ledger fills in — every account, tagged, grouped, and forecast. This is the setup the app is built around today.

You don't use Fintable — yet
We're bringing the same bank connections Fintable relies on — Plaid and the other providers — directly into BudgetFast, so you'll link accounts in the app with no separate Fintable account needed.

What it does
Not a wall of features — the actual surfaces. Inflows, outflows, future commitments, and the side-businesses run out of the same accounts.
Plan ahead
A balance line that runs into the future
Virtual transactions extend your cumulative balance past today, so you see the dip before you hit it — then they flip to real once they clear.

FAQ
Flows, transfers, accounts, and the balance chart — the things people ask first.
Transactions (flows) are money in or out of your system — salary, groceries, a refund. Transfers move money internally between your own Accounts, e.g. Bank → Cash. A transfer doesn't change your total balance; it only reallocates it.
Today, yes — Fintable.io does the bank syncing into a Google Sheet and BudgetFast reads from it, so if you already use Fintable you're exactly who it's built for. Direct bank connections — the same providers Fintable relies on, like Plaid — are being built into BudgetFast so you'll be able to link accounts in-app with no separate Fintable account.
Yes. BudgetFast mines invoices and receipts from your email, extracts the amount and the attached PDF, and pairs each one to the bank transaction it belongs to — so every line in the ledger keeps its paper trail for reconciliation and business reports.
Accounts (formerly Buckets) are where your money lives — bank, cash, investment. Sources tag where inflows come from; Sinks tag where outflows go. Together they turn a flat list of rows into something you can actually analyse.
Add a virtual transaction — a future-dated commitment. It extends your cumulative balance line into the future so you can see when you'd dip negative, then flips to real once it clears.
It aggregates every transaction (inflows and outflows) over time. Transfers are internal, so they show as markers rather than changing the total. Virtual transactions appear as the projected tail of the line.
Yes. Tag transactions to a Business to get its own P&L — revenue by Source, expenses by Sink, monthly trends — without separating them from your personal ledger. Projects span activity across Businesses.
